Frankfurt 2013: Call for presentations/questions

On September 28th and 29th the annual AirlineSim Convention will take place in Frankfurt, Germany. The final program will be posted over the coming days, but the second day traditionally sees the presentation of new features and our roadmap for AirlineSim. In the course of this event it is also possible for users to present their own contributions.

Call for Presentations

So we hereby launch our "call for presentations" and ask you to send in your presentations!

Possible are any kind of presentation which relate directly to AirlineSim: For example about in-game tactics you employ, feature details you'd like to shed some light on, analysis' or statistics you generated or tools you have developed. Beyond these we don't want to narrow the range of topics all that much, tough: Interesting trip-reports, virtual company presentations or talks about real-world aviation topics are appreciated equally. In short, everything that's directly or indirectly related to AirlineSim and/or aviation that you think might interest other players is fine!

We provide a projector and a computer running PowerPoint which you can use. If you need special materials or equipment, please let us know in your submission.

Please send your submission to support@airlinesim.aero. Your entries should be between 15 and a maximum of 30 minutes in length and we reserve the option to pick among interesting submissions. The deadline for your submissions is Sunday, September 15th 2013, 24:00 CET.

Call for Questions

This year we also plan for the first time a "prepared questions session". Traditionally, there's an open Q&A session every year (and there will of course be one this year, too) during which attendees can ask their questions or propose their ideas to the team. Since these questions (or the respective answers) are quite elaborate sometimes, we have decided to take some questions in advance this time so we can prepare elaborate answers before the conventions starts.

Everyone - including non-attendees - are invited to post their questions into this thread beforeĀ Sunday, September 15th 2013, 24:00 CET.

Please note:

  • Only one question per person, please.
  • Please ask your questions as precisely as possible.
  • Please also let us know on this thread if you find questions by other users interesting to make prioritization easier for us.

We are looking forward to your questions!
