Is the E2 series really that fuel-hungry?
For example:
JFK-BDL
E195E2: 2100 l vs A319neo: 490 l
This look crazy and very wrong. Which world?
For comparison: Tristar, JFK-BDL, fuel costs: E195 E2 942, A220-300 1.160, A319neo medium 1.283
On Yeoiudo, I see the following:
E195 E2: 2,099 liters
A319neo light: 2,865 l
A319neo medium: 2,858 l
A319neo heavy: 3,199 l
A220-300: 2,583 l
A220-100: 2,477 l
It’s on Paine..
I think it might be reasoned with the 1.5.0 performance system.. The E2 uses version 1.0.0, which might explain why it feels so heavily nerfed compared to the A220, A320neo, and 737 MAX
Thanks for your input!
@martin any chances for a quick and easy upgrade to 1.5.0 for the E2?
Got to check in with @Priller about that. Getting the data for all the “important” aircraft families wrapped up is high on the priority list. But no deadlines here as this is volunteer work ![]()
If it was quick and easy I’d be done by now.
I had a family emergency that took me away for a while but I’m already back to working on Aircraft Data. You’ll see some updates fairly soon. I can’t promise a timeframe for the E2 right now.
Thanks for the update ![]()
