Game feature to help new players.

I don't know if this has been suggested already, sorry if it has.

I'm sure a lot of us have seen (or even used to do this) start up at 10 bar airports then have to shut down due to lack of passengers (e.g. other established player's hub)

So I would like to suggest the idea of implementing a system-sort of like the "fleet lists" section-only to tell new airlines where airports don't currently have a hub established, and possibly show them depending on demand/country location etc.

What do you think?

All this information is available on the airport page if a player properly researches before startling (as you would hope happens in the real world)

My point is that most new players don't understand the game fully. We want to keep this game as realistic as possible, but still make it accessible to new players don't we?

I see what you're saying but I don't think we want to make the game too easy. Research is part of the world of business.

how would you define a hub?

how would you define a hub?

An airport that has 20-80% of flights departing, depending on the size of the airline, we could come up with a formula for this.

how would you define a hub?

Id say any airport where a single company departs to at least 20-30 different destinations.

In such a comparison It would also be interesting to compare the size of the hubs based on how many destinations they are connecting.

how would you define a hub?

How about as an airport where transfers are possible?
