Hi all,
I am trying to fly a CRJ1000 NextGen back and forth from DEN to SNA.
The DEN-SNA leg is fine but on the SNA-DEN leg I get a red X on the aircraft performance and I cannot figure out why. Any ideas? Thanks.
The runway length at SNA is too short for CRK to takeoff.
ugh, that is so annoying. Is there somewhere in the game that I can check that kind of thing before I land a plane there and start a schedule?
Manually checking on the airport page and airplane page is probably the best.
You can use the Route Evaluation tool to see basic info (including runways) on both airports at same time, but you’ll need to know the plane’s requirements.
You can use the Aircraft Type Evaluation tool in Operations menu, but you need to make sure you enter the route both ways (DEN to SNA, SNA to DEN).
Over time you’ll learn which airports have short runways, and the various planes’ requirements for takeoffs and landings.
