How to know when a new server will be open ? Do I just check everyday or is there a “server schedule” thing around ? THANKS
For short-term game worlds, you can estimate their reset date based on their end date. In most cases, I do the reset the day after a game world ends.
For new game worlds, there is no public schedule. Although I am still considering launching a new short-term game world in the coming weeks.

please allow me to ask:
why not join an existing server? if what you are looking for is an empty market, there are plenty of opportunities across all servers. there will be even more traffic, as new servers have a reduced demand that increases over time while existing servers are already at full speed.
really ?? I thought existing servers are full of mega airlines and markets are dried up
well, that depends on your expectations. if you insist, that you have to have a mega hub at IST, JFK, HND, … or build a major airline at your village’s local air field without a real strategy - than yes, you will be out of luck
If you are flexible with the country, you can become a major player over time - assuming you invest at least a little bit of time on strategy.
but big players stop playing, airlines go bankrupt and there are notoriously underserved markets with strong domestic demand to build a cash cow before expanding into regional and long haul services.
the way I usually go about it is either checking the statistics pax per week, then go through the countries I might be interested in to see if there is already a major airline. (keep in mind places like the EU, where a EU country might not have a national carrier, but where other EU airlines already dominate the market)
alternatively, you could use ASroutemap.info that has a feature to help identify potential candidate airports for hubs - or allows you to jump to the airport info pages directly after checking the overall geographic situation.

i looked up my account i was playing Pearls in 2012, its been a minute…
If I manage to start a new short-term game world with ITRs in July, it’s got to happen within the next 2 to 2.5 weeks. Otherwise it’s getting to close to the next game world reset.
boss, thanks for your reply. I’ve got another question, that when you add a new cool system or feature to airlinesim, such as ITR, is it added to all gameworlds or just new worlds launched after the feature is introduced ? thanks a lot for reply !
for certain, only Martin can tell, but in the past, such major updates have only been made available on new game worlds.
It depends on the feature, but introducing most of the bigger ones would typically be too disruptive for existing game worlds. That said, at some point and in some cases, it might be required for technical reasons. But if that happens, you’re going to hear about it well ahead of time.
