I don’t want to name the player, but we have a major player in our game world with lots of airlines and subsidiaries who has been inactive for nearly a year now. They are a premium player.
If they have given up, which seems likely, when will their credit run out and the airlines closed down?
I ask this because in our game world we have a stock market, and this player and I previously arranged for them to have traffic rights in my area. Theirs are based in another. So with a swap of a few shares I can take control. I have tried to contact the player numerous times but no response.
If you report the airline in-game, I can take a look (and you don’t have to name names). But generally speaking, if they don’t respond but have credits left, there’s little you can do besides waiting.
I am in the same boat, inactive player taking all the slots of a main airport in my home country.
I believe if they run out of credits, then there is a set period of time before their airline gets autoclosed down I believe, but only if no credits, not just inactivity. I dont know the exact time frames of how long it takes before an airline gets shut down for no credits either.
Although this airline group has taken a lot of slots all over Europe, I gave them the traffic rights through the stock market. So I can take them back over. As they have been inactive for nearly a year, is this morally ok?
