Hi,
I have a question about the interlining mechanics between different airlines, that may not have a direct agreement but could still generate connection traffic based on an interlining with a 3rd party.
For example:
I have an airline in the US and no interlining with any US based competitor. Now, I want to introduce flights to Europe and I'm looking for a partner there. Lets say the European airline will sign an interlining with me but they also have an interlining agreements with a competitor at my hub.
Will I unintentionally provide transfer passengers to my competitor because he and the European airline have an active IL and my flight could function as a bridge between those two networks?
Thanks
