I honestly don't believe whats going on. I have a fairly new airline on Templehof based in Johannesburg. I have a 767 flying from Johannesburg to Luanda and the flight is on average 60% full. The cargo is 100% full every flight. What I don't understand is why I don't even appear on the airport statistics page. I have leased a 3 month old plane to fly between all the cities in Angola but no one even books for any internal flight.
There is only 1 more airline flying in Angola thus competition is not that bad. I had the same issue when I wanted to connect internal flights in Nigeria. Is it a bug in the game that I don't appear on the statistics page or am I doing something wrong?
Because you are an airline based in South Africa and you DON'T have the traffic right to fly domestically in other African nations except it is your subsidiary to do so.
Be in mind that your subsidiary only has the traffic right in your own country and unrestricted market like Kuwait, Qatar and Cambodia.
Euh... not and.
If you create a subsidiary in Kuwait, it will have Kuwaiti traffic rights. Your subsidiary in Kuwait will not be allowed to carry passengers from Capetown to Johannesburg. Just like your South African airline has no traffic rights in other (even open) African countries.
