Kubait Arabian Airlines today announced a renewal of the narrowbody fleet. The Boeing 757-200 getting slightly older and now the first reach 25 years. Some used Airbus A321-200 will replace them which results in less maintenance costs. The Boeing 757-200 go out for sold (10 million AS$ each) or if anybody is interested the planes could be leased via Kubait Bank of Saudi-Arabia.
KAA is interested in owning any plane they operate and not take capital of third, which makes Kubait Arabian to one of the most expensive companies in Arabia - even in the world - with 1.3 Mrd AS$ and the success speaks for itself. Kubait Arabian is proud to be the largest (most expensive… ) airline with a wholy (100%) own fleet.
I once had around 275 leased planes but 'cause I was bored I decided to cancel all leases and try other strategies and finally I just bought a whole fleet. I wouldn’t say the growth is slowed down. I had 5 bought MD-11 (=200 mio AS$) and now I have 4 777-200, 1 777-200ER and 2 777-300 (= 446 mio AS$) for example. But anyway… I play since 4 years now and I’m not anymore interested in rushing anything.
EN - Some weeks ago the new Kubait Arabian Airlines was founded. The airline claiming to be the only real Arabian airline will publish news in the future again. For the inauguration and revival of this thread we made some simple information.

Kubait Arabian Airlines has transported over 800,000 passengers last week. A very nice SLF of over 81% was achieved but we still handle an increase to 83% by now (other Arabian airlines can just dream of such) plus a rise from 239 AS$ revenue p.p. to 243 AS$ p.p. The first profit was made since operations started effectively. It took some time since we were establishing very large aircrafts and developed our own market to a strong standing. We’ll have to do some changes on some routes which are not good equipped with our current Boeing 737-800 international fleet. This destinations will see a full change to Boeing 787-8 in intercontinental seating.
