Because the kraken are acting as the bad leasing companies, at least according to ****, so you know, the kraken need to be punished and restricted so the same kraken cannot just stop leasing contracts on the whim with poor unfortunate lesees.

besides the fact that your tone is not appropriate, your argument is not correct as well.
typically the lessor would be a large, rich and powerful airline, the leaser a new or small airline, of course other constellations exist but are not the standard pattern.
the lessor is in this case in a much stronger position than the leaser. it does not harm him significantly when the aircraft is returned wheras the leaser would be harmed significantly if the contract can be terminated at short notice.
therefore the rules can be assymetric but anything is good as long as the minimum termination period is 6 month or longer.
and regarding the meanwhile standard allegation - just used in attempts to shut down others (e.g. me) - that i argue only in my personal interest: my airlines dont have the need to lease from private lessors, they are wealthy enough. i do it only if i can trust the lessor and the offer is good but the preference are leases from as.
For all new airlines here, i would strongly advise to be carefull when leasing cheap airplanes form one player. As viennabert said right, you should only do so if you can trust them.
