Medium range/High capacity

Hy

As the topic name suggesting it , i’m looking for an aircraft with higher capacity than 220 , between 2500 and 5000 km range. A350 looks solid , but i would like to ask some dudes with experince.

Depends on the type of Seats, i suggest.

Always conf plus w/ y , and c depends on range.

If you're struggling to fill an Airbus or a Boeing may I recommend the Antonov AN-148-100E it has 85 seats with a maximum range of 6000km and has a good passenger rating

Did you read this, Highlander222? 220 souls on board won’t fit, I think …

Nope , i have too many pax on some routes with tupolevs ( for now … ) , that’s why i’m searching for a good med range widebody. …or i should wait for the A330 regional?

Why? You can use every widebody also on short routes. But be aware of that Widebodies in AS usually generate less profit than smaller planes.

But also think about higher prices and/or higher daily frequencies to carry out your pax!

I just wanted to catch the other #del dudes faster. I restarted there 1 months later after the world start from ist , and using tupolevs instead of bombardiers , and i have a (much) larger growth rate than my competition( possibly because they are using 110-150 base capacity planes mainly ). But sooner or later i have to change from tupolevs because of the terrible production time. So this why i’m curious about med range widebodies.

Maybe try a 788 for medium routes (higher profit margin) or a 332 (faster delivery)? I know both options have a higher-seating-same-maintenance category aircraft for expansion if necessary, and they both seat a reasonable amount of people compared to a 359, which may be too much capacity. The downsides of both are the 332 isn't as fast nor as efficient, and the 788 has high delivery times. Both look best when on the longer side of the 2500-5000km range.

788 also have short(er) turnaround times. But in general it’s more profitable to increase the frequencies with A321/739s than go widebody in AS

What Matth said. Unless you're facing severe slot restrictions, for flights < 5000 km using two A321 / 739 or equivalent is usually much more profitable than using one widebody.

Well then i pump out a few more tupolevs, then 321.

And waiting for the implementation of the new A330-300R.
