NEA announces more orders for Antonov aircraft
Khartoum. The new CEO of the Sudanese national carrier NEA Northeast African Airways , Mohammed Ahmad Keir, today
officially announced the firm up an order for six more Antonov An-148/158 to be delivered until Q2 2015. How many of each was not
mentioned in the interview he held with a local newspaper. This contract also includes an attached option for six more to probably
replace the Fokker 50 fleet.
Keir said, the Antonov is a perfect fit for Sudan and the local operations since its design leads to high rate of utilisation as it can
operate on gravel runways while also operating as a modern plane into African metropolitan regions like Cairo. It is offering an out-
standing profitabilty also and an incompetitable range if needed.
Just curious, how do you make Juba a focus airport when you only have flight from KRT - JUB

It's more about getting the most traffic out of the route than having many different connections. :P
