No demand at all for select routes - Oman.

Whilst the vast majority of my flights on Stapleton yield profits and have good demand- flights from Muscat to Moscow and Shanghai have had 0 passengers even with an IL there. Is there a political reason or something else.

I am sure there a 0 passengers on those routes. Currently you serve 14 airports with 300 weekly departures. For long haul in such a small airport I think you will need to serve at least 50 airports with over 2000 weekly departures.

I see this in all your airlines that you try going long haul very quickly but you NEED connections. If I was you I would delease that A333 and instead go for Saabs (if you need some I can lease them to you or I can talk with my friends to lease you some). With the Saabs I would try to serve the huge middle east market.

I will only lease planes in a long lease agreement (over 6 months) and I only lease on request.

UAE- Always 100% loads to DXB, (Sharjah), AUH

Qatar- 50% load, slim profit margin on 3 daily flights.

Domestic, Salalah is full but others are - just.

Geneva- Profitable.

Paris- On track to be profitable

Pakistan- Profitable

Kuala Lumpar- Could be profitable

Others haven't came through.

So Moscow- Shanghai and Mauritius have 0 passengers, quite surpassed at Moscow and Shanghai however I have strong IL's at GVA, Pakistan, KUL and CDG.

Yes 0 loads because you do not have connections and there are 0 direct partners on those routes. Do those flights even exist in the real world?

I am sure you have a strong partner in KUL because you have my airline. Though Air Geneva and Pakistani are also very good.

Adam you have been told and told again by experienced players do not go long haul so early but everytime you ignore?

Agreed.

This airline has been going for a month and as I got a good IL and there was a good aircraft I thought why not- it turned out to be a success. I didn't start with long haul- I started with regional flights but then I saw two partners of unity offer IL (based in GVA) so started flights. Unlike before I started with multiple flights with long haul. Also if the long haul didn't work I would put them on UAE routes which would fill up without a problem. So I know what my options are with the A330. These where A320 aircraft. But anyway I was just wondering. I am fine and I don't need people controlling what I what my airline does- even if it isn't the most normal way to expand.

I operate an airline in MCT on Ellinikon. I also operate the route MCT-DME with an A319 and it needed some time, a strong Il-partner at DME and a bigger network at MCT to get the aircraft full. But the most demand from MCT is on routes to DXB, AUH and to all major Indian airports. Also Saudi -Arabia works fine. Try to create a network to these airports / countries, before you go long-haul. I offer the routes to DXB and AUH many times per Day with A320/321, nearly every hour and there is still more demand on these routes.

for long haul, try LHR or HKG. There is always some demand to these airports.

Check out this airline to see what works:

A month is very early.  I wouldnt even consider long haul until you are at least 6 - 8 months in, and then only on very high demand routes.
