Don't worry about the Haterz I like - as many others - the 6.2 update :)
I don't know how extensively the Notepad is used by others - but I like to use it to remind myself of a lot of stuff. I find it difficult already now on Riem to remember all my ideas/concerns/strategies and that is only with 8 or so Planes....
So when you click the Notepad you can start editing which is fine - however the frame height gets reduced to 100px or so? Don't know if that is because of Mobile Compatibility but on my 1920x1200 screen it just looks silly. Plus I don't know where in the Notes I am.... Is it possible to keep it at the inital height of the non editable window pre-click? Which I feel scales fine. In that case the rating frame must be moved I guess.
Also... is there a limit to the Notepad?
and if yes would you consider replacing the Notepad with something with more functionality e.g. a Logbook with daily/weekly entries - this could be coupled with a calendar, reminders etc.
on the text editor you could have direct linking, i.e. if you write
fl:SB2024 converts to a clickable link to the flight number screen for that Flight number. Or you go: "Check pl:002 regularly for Load." creates a link to the flights page of the specific plane. This is for your private notes, but:
it would also be a great place for story telling. (options for which posts to "publish" - not revealing your strategy ;) ) Especially for "slow-building" servers as Riem.
It could be nice for the users that are really devoted to AS who actually want to publish their content / tell their story and you end up with (hopefully) a lot of awesome user content which in turn inspires others...
Just dreaming here... But it does not seem too complicated, but I am just a lowly VBA Programmer :P
