I don’t know if this has been brought up before as I am new. I did several searches, but didn’t find anything close.
That said, I think it would be nice to be able to to create a holding company that owns your current enterprise. The holding could be made to be anywhere, but the enterprise would then fall under the new rules. Secondly, I think there should be better Holding management in the game.
To illustrate what I mean, say I created “Enterprise 1” and it works nicely. After a month or so, I want to create a another sister company to it, but I want it on the same “level” as Enterprise 1. To do this, you need to have a holding company over Enterprise 1. If you made the mistake or didn’t think about the need when you first started the game, that option does not exist right now and I feel that it should.
As I mentioned before, I feel the holding company should be allowed to be anywhere, but the trickle down traffic rights would likely prevent players from taking much advantage of it. I can think of some instances where it would be beneficial though, in particular for newer players.
When it comes to holding management, I feel there should be a quick and easy means of transferring cash between all companies of a holding company, both down and up the corporate hierarchy. There shouldn’t be a need to repeatedly buy an aircraft. In addition to this, there should be a means of dissolving an enterprise into it’s parent/ other company in your portfolio. I feel that these would be relatively ways to assist in structuring holdings/ companies.
