Hey Martin!
Actual ORS on Paine don’t show exact rating of flight.
Am I right that that image factors still influent on passengers wish to fly particular airline?
So if airline A has price 100$ but uses old aircraft, standard seats, bad staff mood, no service, etc. and airline B has the same price, but new aircraft, good seats, 5 bar staff mood, etc. and depart same exact time as airline A, passengers will choose airline B?
Sure connections will influent also, but lets imagine 1 direct flight from city A to B.
Thanks for answer!
Max
Hey Max,
as I don’t see any personal angle here, I took the liberty of converting your DM into a public topic for everyone’s reference.
Your assumption is correct: The new rating system applies or more less the same criteria as the old one, just using different scales and weights. Consequently, image is also a factor.
On a side-note: Image is still computed in exactly the same way as before, meaning the values are still per service-class and not influences by customer types at all.
For budget passengers, obviously the price is the top priority, for urgent passengers, duration is the top priority, for quality conscious passengers, the quality matters a lot
Is that also true?
More or less, that’s correct, yes.
Hey Martin! Thanks for the answer! I am just trying to understand will my business model be viable in long-term perspective;)
In Paine, I generally wouldn’t count on that ![]()
Well, it works for now ![]()
