I’m not going to comment on this specific scenario but for future reference perhaps it would be better to approach the support channels support@airlinesim.aero if you believe rule breaking is taking place before rushing to the forums. I say this because if there is someone with malicious intent or using exploits etc etc then any backend actions taken can be more effective at dealing with the situation. Whereas in the forums any bad actors could also see your post & either get the gratification that they seek, encouraging them further or use your post as a tool to create new strategies to appear unnoticed.
So, I’m Let’s Jet. BAILU is one of my main interlining partners, since the start of the server. I keep an eye on his schedule, as well as other interlining partners. He’s been around forever, he has a lot of experience at growing airlines here. For the record, we’ve never had any sort of conversation over PMs or anything. You have convinced me that he has more than one account per holding, but none of those airlines are interlined with each other. I don’t see any financial benefit due to this for him. And if the server isn’t going to fill up, I can’t say I have a huge problem with that.
That being said, I’ll keep an eye out, and if they do eventually interline, I’m going to back out.
The only reason I might be a bit above suspicion here is because I don’t use all caps. BAILU opening stations all around China is what convinced me he has more than one holding. That being said, I have stations opened all around China, but I’m based in Singapore and he’s in the US. I like to keep my maintenance ratio at about 110% so I have to mix and match my longer routes, which is why I opened so many stations in China, to allow for that.
The reason I say this last part, is because if I weren’t me, I’d be suspicious of myself lol. I hope the mods take a close look and don’t lump me in, if they’re going to do anything.
Thanks. I already did tho, I sent this post to expose the guy - I don’t wanna keep this in the dark because we need more honest players, and this kind of actions needs to be condemned.
For me, it boils down to…. leave it up to the mods. His airlines aren’t receiving any financial benefit from each other. I don’t mean to be crass, but his individual airlines are simply out-competing yours because he’s very experienced.
If there’s another reason you think it’s malicious or targetted, I’m willing to hear it, I’m just not convinced so far.
If someone is mean enough, he does not need self benefit to justify being a bully to others. For the record - I’m not out competed, just that it’s against the rules and quite disgusting.
What did I ever do to him to deserve this? We should not feed the troll here. But hey, if most people playing the game have this kind of mindset, maybe it‘s not for me.
Just: No. Publicly shaming/exposing people isn’t how we do things here. It’s obviously too late for this thread, but in the future, please go the official route and I’ll deal with it.
