Its 44% for no time progression, 8% dont care, the rest want some form of starting in a different era
I just want to make clear, if you selected yes, it is not a time progression, its just the Era the world is set in - so if it starts in 2000, 2 years later will be 2002, so nothing will have changed, it wont be faster

Looks like there is a demand for both options , maybe two new game worlds with both options??? 
I am guessing its not so simple to set up a server though
It does seem a shame not to go a little further back - a start in the 1980-1990 period would provide something really different and continue doing so for quite a long time. 2000 feels like a bit of a disappointment - before you know it you’d be back to ‘today’, more or less.
