Rajawali Nusantara Airlines (ICAO: RI / IATA: RNA) is a new start-up full-service airline based in Jakarta, Indonesia. The airline is started in Ellinikon, 15th November 2014 with two Airbus A321-200 serving Jakarta - Surabaya 4x daily and Jakarta - Medan 3x daily. The airline plans to operate a mixed Airbus/Boeing fleet, with Airbus A321-200 for domestic and regional routes and Boeing 787-9 for international long haul routes. The management team recently transferred from Rajawali Nusantara in soon to be extinct Quimby server.

Rajawali Nusantara Airlines (RI/RNA) proudly announce the launch of its cargo subsidiary, Rajawali Nusantara Cargo (RO/RCO). The cargo airlines launched with four leased Antonov AN-12 initially serving Jakarta - Jayapura.
"We are thrilled with spinning off our cargo operations, so we can focus the main airline to serve passengers and this subsidiary will tap the full potential of Indonesian market," said Revan Amadeus, CEO of Rajawali Nusantara.
In the next month, the airline plans to acquire an additional six Antonov AN-12, one will be leased and five will be bought. The Indonesian DGCA requiring any airline to operate at least 5 owned airplane and 5 leased airplane by June 2015.
"We realised that our Antonov is a very very old plane, but it still an excellent aircraft to start up cargo business, especially to meet the unique Indonesian regulation of aircraft possession. In future, we look forward to acquire bigger aircraft such as McDonnell Douglass DC10 freighter as well as ATR 72-600 freighter to bring the archipelago best products to the world," added Mr. Amadeus.

Sky Alliance, the global airline alliance, has welcomed Rajawali Nusantara Airlines (RI/RNA) as its 13th member and second airline from Southeast Asia. Rajawali Nusantara Airlines, in co-operation with Saudi Express and Air Pacifica World, is launching "From Down Under to Middle Eas with Love" campaign. The campaign is promoting two new long haul services by Rajawali Nusantara Airlines, CGK-JED and CGK-AKL. Rajawali Nusantara has recently acquired two Airbus A330-200, featuring first class cabin for the very first time in the airline history. Extensive connection is expected in both end, interlining with Saudi Express in JED and Air Pacifica World in AKL.
