What were the reasons given by AS (if any) to not implement retraction/reversal of the lease cancellation?
I don't know why AS hasn't implemented it. However it is senseless ... how can you terminate a contract and redo that afterwards.
There are a lot of things that can't be reverted in AS and in general it is ones responsebility to think and then klick.

While this is true, some people are still learning this game and sometimes 'forget' to think about certain issues.
Therefore sometimes it CAN be useful to be able to resume a terminated lease.
In the end if you pay a penalty I see no reason why this shouldn't be possible.
It is a penalty too if you have to lease another aircraft again and to reinstate the schedule. It's not over if you press the cancelation button. So don't understand the reason why to introduce a short-cut here ;)
