Hi guys

We have last 3 month problems on Aspern with seats

There is 4 or 5 topics with complaints

We know AS team can't watch every company all time, so we can find solution here for system

Idea is use available company rating, flight rating and ORS for hunting "seat cheaters"

for that AS need to make some update on game

a) make Image of company visible for public - If you have red bars lets everybody knows that

B) Use ORS to limit booking for that flights and routes

example:

- if someone put slimline in business give system red bars on flight route and 1 red bars penalty on company image

- if someone put slimline in first class give system red bars on flight route and 2 or 3 red bars penalty on company image

(I work some test on cabin configuration and its works - try put on A380 slimline in first class and you will get 4 and 5 red bars - system work, just make penalty implementation)

ORS system penalty for wrong seats:

Route penalty:

1 red bars - 20% less booking on flight

2 red bars - 40%

3 red bars - 60%

4 red bars - 80%

5 red bars - 95%

Company image penalty

1 red bars - 20% less booking on all flights and all routes

2 red bars - 40%

3 red bars - 60%

4 red bars - 80%

5 red bars - 95%

So if ORS make limit booking all cheaters will be crush in in less then week

Conclusion:

So if someone use slimline in one route, system well penalty him on route, but if he has good rating on other flights can compensate that loss

but if he has 2 or 3 slimline route he will give company bad image for all routes and all flights will be punish with limit booking

I don't think it's possible for anyone to exploit small seats for business / first class anymore on a large scale.

This strategy relied on getting just above zero rating in ORS which means you can only get full bookings when almost no one else is flying at all (during the first month following server start-up).

If you try to do it with a new airline starting today you would quickly run bankrupt since now there is plenty of connections with higher ORS rating for most bigger airports.

The easiest way to solve this problem must be to slowly increase the demand on new servers.

No, ORS will be penalty red bars seats all time in all situations even if you are only on that route (if you have monopoly on route, you will still get penalty on booking)

I don't see problem with new airline

You have 10 mil$

You can lease 6x Q400 with green bars seats and fly with big profit

Or for mid route you can set up to 3x 737(A320) with green bars seats

If you put bad seats and get red bars => you instantly get penalty on booking and say goodbye to airline

I tray on one old server, start with old 747-400 with green bars seat, route was profitable.

So i don't see problem

While your suggestion would elimanate HD seats, there is a reason those yeats have been implemented. Low cost carriers are supposed to be part of the game. As pointed out, the HD seating is a problem of the starting phase of a server (first four to six months depending on how the AGEX developts)

I think the problem has been dealt with already. At least, speaking for myself, I'm pleased about how AS reacted to the situation.
