So i own shares in a number of airlines and i decided to divest some of them, to help me pay some debt and acquire more planes. The thing is even though there are offers for them, they are not selling, which i find it very frustrating. Oh and I've been trying to sell it for days now and red a lot about it too.
Did you read the part that i said there is existent buying orders for the shares i'm selling? I might be making a mistake but i just don't see where. Theres a buying order current stock price and so its my offer.
Both buy and sell order must be within +/- 10% of the ACTUAL market price. Please note that the actual market price may not be necessarily the "listed" or "last transaction" price. Actual market price is calculated as real-time equity divided by the total number of shares. Please note that real time equity rises and falls with income and expense, virtually by the minute.
Also note the following peculiarities:
Shares sold by AS can be bought at market price only. They cannot be bought at -10% price. If you offer +10% they will be sold at market rate, and if there si a bidding war then the higher bidder wins.
Shares sold within the enterprise (one company to another within holding) can also be sold only at market price, but you may offer (and request) higher price, but they will be traded at market price. You cannot offer (and request) lower than market price, the shares will not be traded in such case.
