In real life all airlines on short flights (<100 kilometres) haven't got any service at all. And it doesn't mean that there is bad service, it's just because the flight is short, so there is no need in service. So I think that it would be good to have no service on short flights (like there is no flight attendants on Let 410), and also to have no flight attendants on these flights.
Yes, considering that some service options aren't available for flights under 800km, it would be accurate to somehow limit service options on those super-short flights that exist only in AS (I have flights between Marseille and Nice which would probably hardly be enough time to get to a decent cruise, let alone serve a 'Deluxe Cold Business Meal'!).
That would be good, and I'd have to worry less about my service on short flights and worry about the profit and comfort :D
It is your choice if you offer the Service in AS or if you choose you don't want to offer any service. Just don't select a service Profile ;)

Well it is also your choice to only use minimum prices for tickets, but no one would go for that, as it might not be very profitable. Meaning, not every option is a feasible choice.
If you are looking for a good image, you have to offer a minimum set of service. Even on very short flights. I doubt that you can assure a snack and a meal in a fully booked C class on a 200km flight.
I think there is another more relevant point, not to change this. Although it is quite far from a real passenger's perception, it is limiting the profitability on those connections and thereby (at least somewhat of) pushing longer connections.
Certainly service options would be limited by the type of plane flown in real life. I doubt there are full service LETs and 1900s out there. Drinks, snacks, maybe a few magazines or a newspaper.
