Since Christmas I've seen a pretty sharp decline in the number of passengers on my flights on Ellinikon. I've had a look and I'm not seeing the direct reason for this, no new competitors on the routes, flying the same planes that've been successful for over 2-3 months now. I haven't changed anything on these flights, and have actually been expanding my interlining network to my benefit.
Anybody else encounter this?

Has the AGEX gone down? Or look in the online reservation system and look if you are the best?
AGEX has dropped significantly over the past 2 weeks. I experienced the same "problem" ... And keep in my mind that everybody is expanding, so the number of possible ways to travel from a to b increases everyday!
I have a really small airline serving a small market. It is Tahiti Aiways and thus most of my routes are long medium range or longrange routes. With this setup it can be tricky to gain money in such situations. But managing your airline cleverly will get u through those harder times. Unify your fleet to max. 3 maintenance categories, keep the planes in the air and optimize connections and connection times. I really like my small airline and would never give it up, it's my baby! ;)
Ehh not everyone is expanding. Just last week I had two interlining partners dissolve.
Unity in AS is overrated. I pick up any mid-age airplanes that I can get my hands on to add capacity. I currently have A320, 737, MD80/90/95, CRJ and I still make plenty of money. Picking up a cheap A319 increased overall profitability quite a bit despite adding a new maintenence category. I am a small airline as well (Fleet: 19), but I do have a long term plan to grow.
I noticed a decline in passengers as well. There is not a trend at all. Everyday a new challenge: some flights are booked excellent and the next day not. My airline (North Sea Air) is small and I am tuning my flights to get better connecting times etc. I have a small staff problem :-): IL partners going flat and I am suffering with over staffing ;-)

What I see is that only Stapleton is doing awsome after all these months whit high fuel prices and extreamly low AGEX, and now everything turned around. During that time my best airline ever (untill now) and the one I loved the most, even more than my current airline which is bigger. After all the fight to keep it up it just went into bankruptcy, that is why I am very carefull whit my current airline even if it is not that small (70 planes).
I don’t think AGEX impacted that much though… Some of my airlines experienced decrease in LF in the past two weeks, while some others got even better. I would say competition is always likely to be the main reason.
It’s mysterious why so many well-run airlines ceased businesses in the past few weeks. One prominent example is Union Qatar, which lead to an unprecedented new company party at DOH.
I have the same problem, last Monday I had 97% SLF then the next day it went down to 86% and stayed there for the rest of the week. That’s a 6.68% drop on the previous week. This week so far it’s at 87%. 
My airline EuropeFly has suffered a huge decrease in revenue due to this and also profit and profit margin has dropped sharply. Long haul flights have dropped from around 95-100% full to now 40-65%.
As mentioned before: I observed that the major drop started after the downtime of the server during the weekend from Saturday 27.12 14:00 hrs until Sunday 28.12. 18:15 hrs. May be this caused the trouble we are facing... ;-)
