I think there should be a world where the starting capital of a new company is only 1,000,000AS$ or even less. Everything else stays at the same price. Everyone would have to start small. Smaller plane - shorter route and work up to buying or leaseing the bigger planes desired. Rather than being able to lease out three or four big planes in the first week, i think it would be a more challenging world. Just a thought!!!!

I can't see anything positive in your suggestions. The problem with the big airlines won't go away. Because once someone can afford a B737/A320 he will have a even bigger advantage over the other with only small planes. (More feeder/Bigger profits etc.). You would only postpone the usual airline-growing-process.. :)
And think about all the small planes blocking the slots for ages...
