Seats don’t in themselves improve your image rating (except potentially as a sideffect of staffing - less passengers per flight attendant in low vs high-density setups) - they just improve the rating of individual flights. So, if you take a look at the ‘image factors’ listed when you look at the ‘flight rating’ tab, you can see:

  • Seat space (Pretty obvious, I guess)

  • Aircraft type (obv.)

  • Aircraft age (Obv; though, I guess after a couple decades it’s presumed that every bit that’s fallen off has!)

  • Aircraft condition (Easy to overlook - aircraft that fly for several days straight tend to get a bit run-down - if your schedule permits a couple hours for a cleaning break in the middle of a long day, or week, go for it)

  • Flight attendants (More is better - question is, is it worth exploding your staff costs to improve your image? Noone can answer that for you…)

  • Staff mood (Pay’em decently and they’ll be happy. Radical concept, eh?)

Add all those together and you get the ‘image overall’ value, which is what gets rolled into the final flight.

I was just wondering what is Seat space? Then I change my cabin config Product factor Seats changes but the Seat space does not? whats the difference between them?

And another question how much % you need to increase the salary to get 1 more bar? 5 bars?

Leg space. When setting up cabin configuration do not fill plane seats up to 100% that will give you seat space image (and less money).

On the other one can’t help you. Never raised salary more than 5%, which gave me no effect on staff moods.

So how much space is needed to get 1 more bar or 5 bars? Descriptions of the different seats are bit misleading. As some descriptions indicates that the seating gives more space.
