Hi everyone,
i’ve read that the sim tries to simulate the passengers traffic as close to reaslity as possible. I’m operating in Greece and I want to build a route between Athens (ATH) and Sitia (JSH), which is a 1-bar airport. No-one else flights this route.
Wikipedia says that this airport in real life connects Athens, Karpathos, Kasos, Rhodes, Alexandroupolis, Heraklion & Lefkada (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sitia_airport
).
Since no-one else has a flight between Athens and Sitia does this mean that i’m guaranteed in getting PAX for this route?

No, you are not guaranteed to get Pax, you have to offer also a bit of a good image.
Total ammount to varius greek destinations from JSH was less than 60 pax a day in 2011.
There are PSO-routes to AXD, PVK and HER, offering each roughly 8,5 seats per day.
The service to ATH should have some connections to various european destination
what will guarantee you a full plane is a hub system to multiple destinations along with great seating and on-board service. If you don’t offer enough destinations, your pax won’t all get on your plane. Try to diversify your destinations.
