Is it possible to run a ULCC in Airlinesim? I mean a ryanair type airline, using secondary airports and next to no service, thin seats etc? Or is the ORS rating too important?

Not yet, at least. The team behind AirlineSim is working on a new system that allows for more diverse booking types and passengers with, if I understand it correctly, more diverse requirements to the airlines. This might make it possible to build an airline that serves very specific types of passengers and thus might also make it possible to build a Ryanair/Wizz Air/EasyJet like airline that's profitable, but might also make other kinds of "specialisations" possible. At the moment it is not really possible to do this, but maybe soon we get a new system that allows for those airlines.

Using secondary airports makes no sense. AS passengers don´t drive to an airport in their region, they live in the airport and work or make holiday in another airport. You have so serve this exact airport to get the passengers. Yes, there are ground networks, so passengers may drive to another airport if there is no acceptable flight at their own airport. But in competitive markets you will rarely find that situation.
Low cost makes sense if you play on a server with dynamic turnarounds. With reduced service you can shorten turnarounds an squeeze in more flights. But I would never reduce service if I don´t gain the time for more flights; AS passengers want service, and they pay for it.
