Unrealistic turnaround times

I feel that the turnaround time in airlinesim is unrealistic.

Lets take Airbus A380 as an example. Most of the major airports in the world have upgraded their terminals to have 3 aerobridge to speed up boarding and alighting of passengers. In addition, baggage handling capacity has been increased to cope with extra baggages. Thus, airports that have facilities to accommodate A380 only require a minimum turnaround time of 90 minutes. In airlinesim, the turnaround time for A380 at Singapore airport is 2 hours and 45 minutes. When in fact Singapore is the first airport in the world to accommodate A380. And they have the required infrastructure to accommodate A380.

This can be verified from several online source: Eg "In renewed boarding tests with the A380 Frankfurt Airport successfully achieved turn-around times of 90 minutes. " Taken from http://worldairlinenews.com/tag/a380/

Thus, I feel that the turnaround times for larger aircrafts like A380, B747 and B777 should be updated according to the infrastructure available at the respective airports.

I would also love to see a feature, where you can have faster turnaround times if you invest for example in more staff or pay a higher fee. Low cost carriers also manage to have much faster turnaround times and there should be more flexibility here.

More flexible turn-around times are on our medium-term agenda.

Cool :)
