I think that would be a good idea. Just this or last week, I actually asked the exact question that is in this thread to support via email:
The game rules state that some intra-city connections are forbidden, citing the obvious ones in New York, Tokyo, London, Rio, Buenos Aires, etc. However, I don't think the list is complete, so the question is, what about other cities that are not listed. Apart from the question whether it is economically viable, of course.
Specifically, is it allowed to fly between Melbourne Tullamarine and Melbourne Avalon?
I received a reply within minutes from the support team:
currently this only applies to airports mentioned in that list. We working on extending it, but before that gets released, your Melbourne connection would be possible.
I applaud the team for answering quickly - in fact on the few other occasions I asked or flagged something, the response was quite quick. Having said that, it shouldn't take more than a few minutes to copy this info and add it to the Game Rules wiki text. In the long run it would decrease the number of questions and take away the need to find answers by searching forums, which is not always easy.
Edit: full disclosure, I am currently testing this connection with a Dash 8 Q100, 3 flights a day :-)
