via flight separate price now available?

I have not noticed this before, but in Route management I see that the VIA-flight is now listed a s a separate destination/flight and it now has an option to enter the final price (and service) for the A-(via B ) -C flight. Also it shows as "Destination (1 stop)" in the list of routes from origination city (Routes starting in...).

Is this a new feature or was it there always?

One thing that find problematic with this setup is that the default price given by the system for A-(viaB)-C is the same as first leg price A-B, while the default direct price A-C is much higher.

Bump… any answer please?

There hasn't changed anything since ages (except the 1 stop-illustration). It always has been as it is now.

You can select the prices/service per leg A-B and B-C. You still can't adjust a price for A-C (via B ).

But why I am saying is that apparently I can set the A to C price now…

Are you sure that you can? What I mean is if you set it…and leave it to go through the 72 hour period. Then check what price occurs on the ORS. I suspect the individual pricing will come up

The mechanic hasn't changed for years, are you sure you're doing it right?

You need to click on separate legs to set prices

Yeah I know it used to be doing separate leg pricing...but as I do not use via flights, this particular route was still "enabled" (with no flights) and I found it interesting that it shown single price. But yes, nothing has changed, I try-scheduled a flight with immediate activation, and put a different price on a route than A-viaB leg price, ORS has then shown the "different price" but for A via B leg only, the via B to C leg was then added. But I found it interesting that it allows you to have one default price for A-B, and different default price for A-viaB leg.

For AS both are totally different routes with different flight numbers, that's why you can set different prices.

Again nothing has changed here.
