But the President's B747 was selected on purpose ... of course he could get any Aircraft he wants but modern digitalized Aircrafts with lots of LCD Screens etc are poised to be highly effected in case of an EMP attack. So thats why they choose a conventional Aircraft with wire cables and conventional Instrumentation ;)

A330 or an "older" Boeing like 777 or 767 is more than enough.

Perhaps the US president should start and fly US Airways, Jet Blue, etc. Close to bankrupt, but a fleet of VIP planes.
