What should I do to fly within EU if my HQ is at DEL?

Hello everybody,

I’m a new player. I just realized that I can’t fly from LHR to AUH because I have my holding company’s HQ at DEL. So, what am I supposed to do to get the passenger rights to fly between LHR and AUH?

Found a company in either the UK or the UAE.

And please read up on how traffic rights work both in this game and in the real world.

Okay… Thank you so much…

Have a read of this
To sum it up, you can only operate flights that start or end within your airline’s home country (for you it is India) as that’s where you are allowed to. There are certain exceptions for example the EU, but that is a bit more complicated.

Thank you so much for your reply…

On the subject of traffic rights, can my country in country A sell an itinerary between two airports in country B, so long as they connect via my own country? Eg from Seattle to Boston via Calgary?

You will have passengers from Seattle to Calgary but no new passengers can jump into the plane from Calgary to Boston. The other way would work: fly to Calgary from whereever in the US, then to Seattle and to Boston. That works.

Sorry, I forgot to clarify, in this example my airline is Canadian. So surely Calgary to Boston will be fine. But is Seattle to Boston via Calgary ok?

That works from a Canadian airline, yes. In terms of traffic rights.
However - Seattle to Boston via Calgary will most likely not work very well as the direct route is shorter.
