American Sky

Value_logo.png

Value by American has been relaunched! Value by American is again a subsidiary of Global Group USA which also holds American Sky. This is a low cost airline aimed at operating safe and cheap direct low cost flights between big cities in the Unites States where the expensive carriers dominate. Value is based in Miami unlike the rest of the American enterprises which are based in Seattle. Except for the flying itself staff all other activities of Value such as operations, flight planning and administration, are handled by American. All Global Diamond or higher members can fly Value for free. On board two classes are offered:

  • Value class is the cheapest option aimed at offering as low fares as possible. Value class offers individual 13 inch IFE screens for each seats offering a compact version of the Global system with 10 movies and TV series for free and with a 5 dollar fee the full Global System with thousands of movies and tv series can be unlocked. Al tough all value passengers receive a snack and non alcoholic drinks. During each flight a "Sky Cafe" is offered where passengers can through their IFE screen order a meal, drink or amenity from the large offering. Each seat offers a footrest. For a small fee one can upgrade to a Big Front Seat. There is a 10$ fee for each checked in bag while hand luggage is free.
  • The Big Front Seat is not all that different from Value Class as the same service is offered although one does not need to pay for the full Global IFE. The big difference is the seat it self which offers great recline and adjustable leg rest which makes it great for sleeping. It is the same seat used in economy class at American.

Value offers no frills service from Chicago, Los Angeles and New York JFK. Using an all Airbus fleet compromised of the A319 and A320 planes each of our plane is named after an female employee who is randomly chose to be it´s godmother. The A320 family are leaders in safety and comfort and offer fly by wire for your safety. All our fleet have the american CFM56 engines installed:

Value_A319.png

Our four A319s are on average 16 years old and all are leased from our Partner Luchoi Air (part of Gorbi Group). They are configured with a total of 126 seats where 102 are Value Seats and 24 are Big Front Seats. They are named; Betty, Elisa, Alice and Patricia.

Value_A320.png

Our two A320-200 planes are named Christina and Maggie and are leased from Luchoi Air. They are configured with 150 seats with 126 Value Seats and 24 Big Front Seats.

We are currently looking for 48 pilots and 148 flight attendants who are willing to represent our brand and be part of one of America´s smallest crew teams where we all are a big family. After six flawless months at Value staff can chose to without interview transfer to American.  On rare occasions Value flights might be operated by American. Join our team today!

American has opened a focus city in Denver offering world class service to 27 destinations with over 50 daily flights. We have based five A320s, one A319 and four A318s at Denver. With this new focus city we have launched a new advertising campaign mainly focused for the Colorado area but also for the entire nation. The advertising campaign is in response to the text on the world famous Union Station in Denver.

With the fantastic results from the first hours of operation of our two terminals at New York and Orlando which are owned and operated by Indo. We have decided to double the capacity of those two terminals as well as build further terminals in Dallas and Las Vegas with future dedicated terminals for Seattle, Salt Lake City and Denver to follow. Our expansion in terminals is an attempt to establish better international operations through distinguishing those operations from the domestic operation and building a facility which is specifically designed to properly handle International flights into such a difficult country as the United States. Another reason is for the ease of the traveller as it is much easier for a traveller in a small terminal than a large one. A shuttle train is offered connecting our International Terminals to the Domestic Terminal One (atleast for us it is domestic). One of the driving factors in this choice where the multiple complains of the general Terminal One on International flights and reports on spending hours at Immigration. For our standards this is not tolerated and building our own facility was the most expensive but best choice.

Just a question, are you doing well financially, American Sky, I mean as you needed a rescue loan, do you need any help financially from me

Is this a joke?

First of all, he knows what he is doing, and second, you obviously haven’t figured it out yet.

There is no need to use that belligerent tone, sir. I object to your outburst as the question was simply direct towards CBE and not towards you. I don't understand why you thought it prudent to interject, when the question was not yours to answer.

Thanks for caring Highlander, I really appreciate it.

Getting rescue loans is a way to delay my week end closing thereby saving 10 million dollars from being payed now. Rpandguita wrote a topic about this strategy about two years ago. Dont attempt playing with rescue loans without knowing 100% what you are doing, it WILL kill you!

Okay, thanks for the advice, but the way in game could you tell me how you think my airline is going and what do you think as an experienced player, I should do to expand

We are very sorry for the inconvenience caused at Las Vegas where due to a stupid error in our scheduling and dispatch departments our A320NEO aircraft registered N162USA was assigned to fly two schedules at the same time thereby confusing the pilots on which flights to fly. The last three days have been filled with serious one, two or even three hour delays, cancellations and transfer flights. In total this mess has costed us half a million and the bloke in charge has been given a one way ticket to the beautiful jungles of Papua though our mother company IndoSky. We wish him good luck on his new adventures though the lethal jungle filled with cannibals. All in all, today´s flights have around three hour delays but tomorrow the schedule should be back on track. We deeply apologise and offer each passenger 1000 Sky Points which equal to 1000 dollars when used on American or our partners.

American has decided upon greatly expanding our own terminals with new terminals opening up in Denver, Salt Lake City, Seattle, London Gatwick and even Honolulu. The Terminal at Honolulu will be the only terminal made mainly for domestic flights as it shall be the base for all our long haul operations from the city and even the inter island flights which are operated by American Hiawatha Airlines using Cseries equipment. Our state of the art 767s daily serve the island from Dallas, New York and Orlando and A320s from Seattle, Salt Lake City, Denver and Las Vegas. Together with five Cseries station in the island state. With this new terminal we will provide a luxurious beginning and end to fantastic Hawaii vacations.

These new smaller terminals are part of the LUX by Global concept where studies have proven that passengers better enjoy a quick and seamless travel experience instead of a large grand terminal. This is exactly the friendly experience we try to offer through our LUX by Global Terminals.

American has finally reached 15,000 mainline team members and American Hiawatha Airlines has reached 2000 team members. Currently the Global Group USA operates 263 aircraft with 197 at American Sky, 60 at American Hiawatha Airlines and 6 at Value by American. Together we have over 17,000 team members all working in fair conditions with the highest pay in the country. We are currently looking for 5000 pilots flying anything from a CRJ700 to a 777-300ER. At Global Group employees are part of one team regardless of which entity they work as. In the group we have a transfer program where after one year of faultless service an employee can transfer to any of the companies if there is a vacancy. Even if work conditions for cabin crew might be more demanding at Value they can quickly flow through to American. In this manner we can assure any employee of the group to reach the position they want. Employees also have the opportunity to transfer to IndoSky or BLU Express where they can work the adventurous jungles of Indonesia.

Inexperienced pilots will usually join our entry level positions flying the CRJ and are paid on average 1200$ each week. After a year of flying the CRJ our young pilots will have the opportunity to transfer to either the Cseries, A320 Family or 777 (if available). At this stage a significant pay increase will happen. We want our pilots to stay in our family all their life. Experience pilots can join one of the bigger aircraft to start with.

American has re branded with the introduction of a brand new logo symbolising a simple and contemporary American which we want our customers to feel. Unlike the pumped up pompous carriers we are a new young contemporary airline. We are not the airline of the past but the airline of tomorrow. We are a customer oriented airline seeing the experience of the customer first and foremost. The American logo is as simple as our prices. Our new logo also removed the slogan "A new fresh airline" from the logo but it is a slogan which still lives on and is represented on each of our aircraft. Our new logo is meant at giving all Global Group USA airlines a similar appearance with the "American pink" and white text. We want to make ourselves known through these colours and to be a recognised brand not just in American but in the entire world.

The last months have been painful for the Aviation Market. With AGEX soon in the 650s range American has been set into losses. This was at a time that the CEO was on vacation and his deputy failed to inform the CEO until two days from Certain bankruptcy. As American is fully owned b the publicly listed Global Group USA no funds can be transferred if needed, basically American needs to fend for itself unlike most other Global Group airlines which have billions in capital ready to be pumped in if needed.

With the urgent need for funds in two days the CEO choose to immediately restructure the fleet. As all previously highly profitable long haul operations had fallen into heavy losses they were the first to go. Usually Global Group carriers have the cash to be able to survive in crises without major changes but this isn't the case for American as it was very young when the crisis began and never had the time to build up a sizable fund for crisis management.

In seconds the CEO took the decision to "terminate all widebodies" this was necessary to receive the funds for restructuring. This decision means that 12 767s and 12 787s will be returned to their lessors and all their routes will be temporarily terminated and restarted ones the economic climate allows to and we have  better feed developed at the destinations. The long haul service using narrow body equipment will continue as normal. This decision has yet again put American in the Green allowing us to further expand our US operation with a new base opening in Houston which shows the American people that their airline is alive and well!

logo.png

American is very sorry for the circumstances currently happening in Houston and we will do anything in our power to solve the issue. We will from now on fly no more regular cargo to Houston and only fly relief supplies. Our whole Houston distribution network and bus service will only focus on evacuation and delivery of supplies. This is a huge commitment for American which isn't in the best of finances but we will persevere and help to people of Houston. Houston is a big American hub, especially for our Hiawatha operation which has a big base there. American is currently cutting planes in order to stay green long enough to AGEX to rise. We are in enormous financial difficulties and have started retiring old planes and temporarily returning planes to lessors for the sake of gaining capital. There has never been a harder time for any Global Group carrier.

American is officially on track again! The CEO finally took the time to Travel to our headquarters in the Columbia Tower in Seattle and spend the whole week taking care of American. He expected perfection similar to the Indo headquarters but found something extremely different. A careless board and the entire office was a complete mess with pieces of old bigmacs thrown everywhere. He was embarrassed for what he saw. His immediate reaction was harsh but necessary. He mass fired everyone working in the head office in any managerial role which is 2,000 employees together with the whole board. It has never happened before that over 2000 employees had to leave in minutes but in this case it was necessary due to the carelessness and incompetence of them.

After firing everyone in charge he immediately called in 1000 of our top staff at our Indonesian sister carrier IndoSky and 500 staff from our American sister carrier DCAir. Together these staff will work there for up to a year to train future American staff. The CEO describes it as a harmony seeing Indonesians and Americans working together doing a fantastic job. He then immediately flew to Toulouse to order 50 more A319Es for the network while in the meantime he put the Indonesians to work on expansion adding new schedules. We have repainted more and more planes to celebrate our beautiful partnership with DCAir who are always there for us. AMERICAN IS BACK!!!

With our restructuring in progress we can happily announce that we are blossoming. We have grown enormously and trough our order for 20 A320NEO Heavy aircraft we have been further expanding to the old country, we currently offer many exiting destinations across the old country from La Guardia and Orlando as well as our hub at London were we currently offer 105 weekly departures to America in collaboration with our sister carriers CBE and IndoSky which also serve London Gatwick. Together with our sisters we offer a total of soon 200 weekly departures from London Gatwick all in our state of the art Global Plaza. London Gatwick is the only place were all the 3 sisters meet up. Thank you for flying American and we have yet again relaunched our European marketing campaign but this time we want smaller point to point routes instead of the huge 777s of the past.

The CEO of American yet again gone to Toulouse to sign an order for 50 more A320NEOs worth around 3 billion dollars. These planes will be crucial to our expansion at American and they will allow us to increase frequency and open new routes to new markets, these routes will especially be trans Atlantic from New York, Caribbean expansion at Orlando, Trans continental expansion at Las Vegas and great expansion in the Texas market. With this order we will have an even grander fleet with hopes to expand to well above one million passengers per week. We have currently just started receiving deliveries from our order for 50 A319Es. We are also officially announcing that we wont be ordering the A319NEO due to it´s high price tag and the fact that it does not beat the A319E in performance and we dont need the extra size coming from the space flex. These recent grand order will bring our total fleet to:

  • 20 A318-100
  • 100 A319-100E
  • 170 A320NEO (20 in heavy configuration for long haul)
  • 40 A321-200E

This will bring our fleet total to 330 ultra modern planes serving bases all around the nation. We will soon also reach 1 billion dollars in value which means that it is the point where our value doubled from the initial investment of 500 million made by the Global Group at the beginning of the year. We have also been asked how we will proceed with wide bodies. We are considering both the A350 and 787 for such an investment but we are not sure if a wide body plane is currently fitting with American´s long haul model which is based around smaller planes serving more transatlantic routes with a higher frequency. Our next order to come will be an order for 30 A320NEO in Heavy configuration to fly even more trans atlantic routes which will start getting delivered as soon as our current order for the type have finished delivering. As we are transferring from a medium sized carrier to a large carrier we cannot lose our Spirit of Service which is why passengers choose to fly with us and pay more instead of flying cheaper with all the large carriers such as American Arrows and Star America. We need to keep our atmosphere of fun and perfection at the same time combined with a New Fresh Feeling which undoubtedly will be hard as a big carrier but the CEO is very positive that our new Leadership will be perfectly capable of this. Another side of being a big carrier is that we will have more eyes on our pink planes with others trying to copy our brand and identity. The biggest fear is to not become boring, we simply can't lose ourselves and not treat our passengers as individuals and instead treat them as numbers. If we lose ourselves we lose the business which is what almost happened once. That time we were making losses and our management decided that cutting costs would save us but it did the opposite. Cutting cost put us in direct competition with all the other carriers instead of keeping ourselves in our untouchable bubble. That is why that whole management is not working at Global anymore.

American as Seattle home airline would like to give our deepest condolences to the families and friends of the yet unknown number of causalities caused due to Amtrak´s derailment south of Seattle. We will also offer 10000 SKY Points to the families of all deceased. We believe that passengers in the modern age should not travel on ancient diesel trains which as proven trains are extremely dangerous and diesel trains are also horrible for the environment. We believe that everyone should fly which is why we have launched our second advertisement campaign directly targeting the train and Amtrak. There is potential in trains as is shown in Europe and Asia but it just does not seem like the Americans can operate trains safely, cheaply, comfortably and reliably. Which is why you should fly American and keep your life for later...

American is the last Global entity to say happy new year! American has an exiting year ahead with an over doubling in size and and enormous increase in passengers flown, staff and fleet size as we strive to connect ever more passengers. Our new year will also consist of a revamped menu of new interesting and iconic culinary experiences. We are revamping the already best menu in the sky to further out conquer our competitors and always be the step ahead as the new and fresh carrier. For the Under 800km short haul menu we will widen our selection of offers adding a tasty tender beef sandwich and a smoked salmon sandwich from Lomma in the heart of Sweden on a crunchy "knäckebröd" from Karlstad, Sweden (were CBE and GFS are headquartered) in Plus class together with the current chicken breast and vegetarian offers. Ectasy class will get the more interesting change. Together with the current squid and chicken salads from the famous Cafe New York in Budapest salads we will add a new salads with Gravlax which later has been cold smoked (called "Najadlax" in Swedish) from the same smokery in Lomma, the heart of southern Sweden. More over this we will also offer a sushi box which is different each time based on the chefs creative choice, this sushi is certainly more tasty than any other you have eaten. Plus passengers can upgrade to the Ecstasy meal for just 9$ on the under 800km flights.

For under 1800km flights the Plus class receive the same choices of sandwiches previously stated but with an additional Salad or Sushi box as Ecstasy customers get on the shorter flights. Ecstasy class get the same salad or sushi box but with the addition of a hot meal. The new hot meals have completely been revamped with Either a juicy hamburger, a moth watering Peking Duck, a tender steak or a traditional Pumpkin Pie. For under 5500km flights our Plus passengers will get a daily changing selection of cold tapas together with the selection of Salads and Sushi box. Ecstasy will receive either a salad or Suchi box or a warm appetiser together with one of the already stated new warm meals. For flights over 5500km we will further increase our offering with two choices of the warm meals stated for Plus class and for Ecstasy we offer even larger and grander meals with a much larger varying selection based on destination. On all flights we offer a buffet of cookies, crackers and muffins to all passengers together with chocolate mouse deserts and an unlimited number of the previously stated sandwiches on longer flights. Our Menu does not just sound great but it tastes great, welcome on board American and try it yourself!

American welcomes yet another groundbreaking order for 50 more A320NEO machines. This order is valued at 3,000,000,000$. They will be used to expand our already large network with extreme increases in capacity on multiple routes. The A320NEO is already the backbone of the Global operation. This order will increase the total A320NEO fleet of the Global Group to 460 machines.

With this large order and our latest expansion we will need 1000 more pilots and 5000 new cabin crew with many more ground staff. In order to satisfy this increase in staff needed we have set up our second Global Training Center in Seattle which will be dedicated to training Global Staff for the American continent. American, CBE Argentina, CBE Caribbean, CBE Dominican Republic and CBE Ecuador will all train staff at this colossal training centre. This new centre will ease the congestion on our Jakarta and Singapore Training Centre which have so far handled most Global Cabin, Flight and Ground Crew Training. American staff have also been trained by DC Air in Washington, DC. This new academy will conduct general pilot training and type rating training. The type ratings offered will be A320, CRJ, 737 and A330/A340/A350. The rarer type ratings operated by the Global Group such as ATR, Ejet, ERJ and Q400 will be handled by external providers.

We will also need many new cabin Crew Crew which will be trained in our new Training Centre where they will undergo their General Global Cabin Crew Training Program (GGCCTP) which lasts a couple of months and involves all safety training and general Global service training. This program is managed by Global Staff to ensure consistency and excellence of Service. Afterwards the rew will have a choice of at which Global Entity to work at. With priority to your local carrier. After they have chosen they will undergo a Specific Service and Conditions Orientation Program (SSCOP). This is offered by each individual carrier and consists of two weeks of specific training for that carrier´s specific service and the specific conditions of that carrier. After this program is successfully completed the Cabin Crew will start their work. After a year at a carrier they can choose to move to another carrier and will only need to redo the local SSCOP. A similar program is inplace for pilots which do their general training and after choosing a carrier they do a Specific Conditions Orientations Program which takes a month where they will learn the specific conditions, geography and customs of the locations.

If you are ready for an adventure, join Global and live a trully Global lifestyle!
