Yeah I know, you're the "big airline" that I mentioned :D but as long as China is a big country and there are slots available on some big airports, I suppose that 1 or 2 airlines could take a share of the market. But nothing that you need to worry about, you're China's Emperor :D
I think for this battle, the last dusts has settled and only a few remaining. The biggest airline, Fly Turkini has been sold to Russian company and therefore losing the right to carry passengers to and fro Turkey. Thus leaving a huge opportunity for others to set up a new airline.
Come and join us. Turkish demand is good, feels a bit lonely without a significant competitor! We will welcome you with arms wide open.
AGEX is not affecting the demand, at least for Turkish airport.
As of September 1st, new battle round has been commenced. New entrants, Connect Turkey and izmAir had inaugurated their first flight last week. Lets see what is the result next week.
As for existing carrier, its business as usual:
1. Turkish Wings has been expanding their operations from Antalya and Adana stations. New international routes has been opened and based on their load factor, it's all good!
2. Turkey National Airways keep adding new service here and there. As of 1st September, they fly to more than 300 destinations across 4 continents. More destinations will follow as they gain a significant profits last week.Hopefully the AGEX will continue to increase in September. TNA also has created a new luxurious business class offering personalised service with only 8 seats onboard. Hard to beat that!
3. Anadolu Airlines officially carried most passengers last week since Fly Turkini ceased their passenger operations. Nothing much happened for this airline. Currently adjusting demands here and there, this small carrier currently flying to 200 destinations across 3 continents. A new routes to America and Asia are in the pipeline and currently still figuring out the best aircraft for that missions.
4. Niche carrier, Lostworld Airlines is still standing and recently open a new stations. As this carrier operating all-economy seating, Connect Turkey might be their competitor.
New company has been set up in a neighbouring country. Asia Airways Lebanon might be a new threat to Turkish airlines. With big company backing, this carrier can outgrow Turkish airlines overnight. But competition is always good. Lets hope there are no casualties in this round.
Feel free to comment and share your thought with us!
Turkey National Airways has been shut down, leaving the market with 600k passengers weekly to be grab. Slots in Istanbul airports and Ankara airport has open up considerably. Come and join us, set up a new airlines and make it big. Currently, only 2 international airlines and 3 domestic airlines serving Turkey. There is more room for a new airlines.
As a former partner of Merlin, can I just vouch for him saying he is a wonderful partner and gives helpful advice and bargain planes to really help you against the competition.

I plan to stay. I will secure my account with credits soon. No hospital or whatever can endanger my account then. By the way: Is there any rule about others controlling an account not permanently? I remember times, the chat worked: They were telling each others about holidays and stuff and others controlled the account for a limited period of time.
