Is there a way to quickly determine either the most or least profitable routes or flights? I know you can check loads on the load monitoring page, but that doesn’t necessarily tell you if you are making or losing money on a flight. I am trying to identify flights that aren’t bringing in any money so that I can reallocate those aircraft, but so far the only way I seem to be able to do so is to check each individual flight detail page on the aircraft history page, which is tedious and takes a ton of time…
Go to Route Management - and to the right of your Schedule flights, press details - at the finished flight. Inthere, you can see what Margin you are making.
I’m not entirely sure, but I think a margin greater than 12,5% is acceptable for most people. Personally, on a route with lots of competition, I am happy with a Margin of 5% - eventually, all the passangers generate some profit, but will also connect to some of my other flights, which generate a better Margin.
Doesn’t this only account for one individual flight and not for the route as a whole? It would be super useful to basically see a ranking of all my routes, so that I could for instance see that the margin on FRA - DKR is 1%, CDG - DKR is 20%, and LHR - DKR is -9% (or something like that).
