It’s a bit late for the devlog, but that’s because I live in a part of Germany that - even by German standards - has a lot of public holidays. So my family and I enjoyed a winter break (there actually was and still is snow!) until yesterday.
That said, as a self-employed indie developer of live service games, you’re always “on call” to some extend. So besides regular checks of our helpdesk and the launch of Wright (which took place in week 52) I also addressed some more or less urgent matters around the holidays.
Firstly, I had to ensure that our supporter packs over at Prosperous Universe didn’t include physical perks anymore as we are phasing those out as of January 1st. This required some changes to the backend shortly before the end of the year and some change to the frontend right after.
Secondly, the ORS in Wright seemed to have some issues so I looked into and fixed that while at my parents-in-law ![]()
But other than that, the holidays were very quiet, meaning I can start into the new year re-energized and with a to-do list filled to the brim ![]()
My first task will be to tie up some loose ends around the new location-based demand feature before moving on to other major topics. But more on that in next week’s devlog.
