Dev Log Week 2026-24: Berlin Calling

As mentioned last week, I travelled to Berlin for two days last week to attend the general meeting of our industry association.

Before, during and after this trip I frequently had to deal with new requests from US customs for documents concerning the perks we shipped two weeks ago (see previous devlog as well). Fortunately, I am seeing a light at the end of the tunnel and the majority of packages appear as “delivered” in tracking now. So I am somewhat hopeful that this chapter will soon be closed.

After spending yet a bit more time on tasks related to Prosperous Universe supporter perks, namely revising the the perk detail page to show the actual status of each perk, I was happy to return to work on AirlineSim’s new header. I am not quite ready to show another screenshot yet as I was mainly working on dynamic menu content and elements. But I really want to finish this sub-project this week so I can a.) release it sometime soon and b.) turn my attention towards the preparations of a potential new temporary game world likely to launch in July. I’d love to launch it with Individual Travel Requests enabled, but for that I’ll have to do another iteration of tuning and balancing first.

To that end, I am currently collecting your feedback on the key pain points people experience in Paine. So please go ahead and share your insights if you have any
