Dev Log Week 2026-23: Perk Fulfilment

As predicted last week, there was little AirlineSim work to report on in week 23. @molp and I got together at simulogics HQ to pack and ship 80 to 90 packages for our Prosperous Univers Early Access supporters which all in all took about two to three days. Brexit and recent US policy, among other things, made this a lot more cumbersome and expensive than it should be, imo. But I am very happy to have this (mostly) behind me…a few packages are still sitting in my office, waiting to be shipped, because I need to apply for a UK VAT number before I can even buy a label :man_facepalming:. And until all packages have arrived, there’s always the lingering dread that US customs are going to make our lives yet a little harder…

Anyway, in the spirit of “wrapping this up” I also spent a day on some backend changes for digital perk fulfilment, namely the “hidden soundtrack” PrUn supporters get access to at the Galaxy tier and above.

All this left me with some time on Friday to work on AirlineSim: I fixed a bug that was reported to me a while ago (I’ll likely push out a maintenance patch this or next week) and continued working on the header rewrite (also discussed last week). I should have more to share on the latter next week, even though week 24 will also be somewhat shortened due to me taking a trip to Berlin (link to German post).
