While İpek is wrapping up her map prototype, Martin is building a new one.
And a PSA: Since Martin will be out in week 40, the relaunch of Bleriot will be postponed to week 41.

Did I mention AI is a recurring theme in the devlogs recently? Ah, yes, I did.
When you’re reading this, I will be spending my annual sailing allowance in Greece. So as usual in such a pre-vacation week, I got some maintenance out of the way and I didn’t want to start work on any new “core project” that I would only get around to again more than a week later. So I decided to revisit my “agent orchestrator” experiment from week 36 because while this worked in principle, the orchestrator I used was a bit too bare-bone for practical use and lacked some critical features. In particular, it doesn’t work with the issue tracker we use and it is very intransparent about the state of work in flight.
So after some research and back and forth with Claude on the weekend, I opted to try another setup this week. To absolutely nobody’s surprise, this turned out to be a larger endeavour than planned. But here’s the pitch: If I get this to work the way I want it to, mechanical tasks that can easily be tackled by an LLM and are “easy” to review once done can just be offloaded to the orchestrator, winning me a lot of available dev time and you continuous incremental improvements. For example: As mentioned last week, there would be no excuse to not tell the agent to go ahead and lift the staff management pages to the Gen-3 UI so their UX and form handling stop being so abysmally bad. The only reason this isn’t happening right now is that I would have to do it, and I have an infinite amount of more important tasks on my list.
With this in mind, I am really hoping my vision materialises ![]()

This week, I improved AirlineSim’s map with aircraft route selection, a base airport marker, and smooth camera centering. I expanded the filters for route ownership, airlines, aircraft, airports, route length, and domestic or international routes. Players can select airlines from a list to compare their routes with others. I also refined passenger and cargo demand filtering, improved the mobile layout, and fixed issues.
After exploring what the current technical implementation can support, I paused further prototype development to focus on documenting the map’s design. The document covers its purpose, user needs, existing features, and prototype limitations. I researched other airline management games and flight-tracking websites, collected screenshots, and organized earlier map feature ideas and roadmap items. This work will provide a structured foundation for the full implementation. Next week, I plan to define a clear feature list and begin creating wireframes for the map layout and UI controls. More updates next week as the map design takes shape!
