Hello,
I was wondering whether the ground network can be used for transfers between flights. For example, if a passenger wants to go from Harstad/Narvik to Stockholm Arlanda, I have a flight from Harstad/Narvik to Sandefjord Torp, and I have a flight from Oslo Gardemoen to Stockholm Arlanda. Sandefjord Torp and Oslo Gardemoen are within the same ground network. Will this passenger transfer via this ground network from Sandfjord Torp to Oslo Gardemoen? And if so, does this count as a transfer flight or not? The reasoning behind this is to keep Oslo Gardemoen from getting crowded with small flights.
This use-case currently isn’t supported. It used to be at some point in a long-distant past, but we had to disable it for performance reasons.
So this means that I have to let all my small flights land at my main hub? (From where the international flights depart)… Also, totally different question, but how many flights is a passenger prepared to take in order to reach their destination?
I’m afraid so, yes.
3 flights (2 stops) is the maximum in current-generation AirlineSim.
Alright, thanks for the swift reply ![]()
