If i have an interlining agreement with a firm based in UAE and if that firm has an interlining agreement with another firm based in UK, will i benefit from it? I fly from East to Middle East. My last destination is Dubai. So if the firm i have an interlining agreement with in Dubai has an interlining agreement with a firm based in UK, will my passenger load increase? So will the People who wish to fly from Indonesia to UK use my flight till Dubai and then move on with my partner?
Yes they will.... BUT ... as the server grows, 3 leg connections will be more difficult to book (there will be sooo many combinations out there). The bulk of connections booked are two leg connections (one connection point).
if all the connecting flights are timed properly and your ORS rating is good enough then they might be using your flights until DXB.
however as rubi said, it was three leg connection.. which could be quite difficult to book,
a couple unfortunate last minute people might, but you can't rely them to fill your aircraft
my two airlines, RI and RQ, both deploy good config 788, flying CGK-DOH-CGK and DOH-LHR-DOH.
given the premium price I demand on both sectors, ORS gave me rating 53 and only show in 2nd page.
currently got fully booked on both sectors but it's mainly supported by arrival waves that properly timed
once other airlines in CGK or LHR decided it's good enough to fly direct, my two leg connection will be no match
so to say about your three leg connection vs my optimized two leg connection
