Hello, tried to read through the forum, but didn’t find the exact question I’m asking. I accidentally terminated an interlining contract, and now I’m not able to initiate it again. Is it because I’m not patient enough, or is it not possible to start an interlining contract with a partner you have terminated your contract with?
You have to wait until the end of the terminated contract. Thereafter you can immediately re-ne the contract. Just monitor your interlings.
Due to the best of my knowledge:
A terminated contract will end at the week closing of the airline who offered the interlining.

I am not sure, and I never checked it myself, but I always assumed that IL agreements were on a per week basis. In other words, if it was originally accepted and signed on a tuesday afternoon it will end on the next tuesday afternoon.
Until then, passengers will still be able to book connecting flights.
But again, not sure about this.

That's exactly what happens. When the other party terminates a contract you get this message:
XXX has decided to terminate the interlining contract. The contract will remain active until the closing of the next financial week.
Next financial week. E.g. If your financial week ends on Thursday, and contract was cancelled on Monday, so it will be valid until the Thursday of next week, not current week Thursday.
