Introduction of new aircraft types

These a/c are like a good wine. It may taste nice now but let it mature and it will far better.

A359 ULR has been delivered…

Delivered yes but flights will not start immediately. 1 month at least.

Agreed, but at present rate of introduction I thought perhaps a nudge was in order LOL.

Good point.

737-9Max is out as well as A320Neo sharp option. E2 soon.

Yes “soon”

We’ll see I guess, but at least we have the two new releases. Hopefully the waits will lessen in the future.

I know, "soon" can be a very flexible term and it's annoying when something doesn't got to plan and happens a lot less soon than expected.

But who knows, maybe this time it's sooner than you think ;)

Ill admit when i saw the blog post and “new aircraft” in the title i was triggered about the E2 but hey! Cant wait still

Positive turn on this one. E190 E2 is already available.

As the launch customer for the E2 on Idlewild, I would like to thank the team for getting this aircraft in service.

Better late than not at all.

How is the E2? Currently at work so will get home and order some.

I like to see how they perform in the “real” world, but the increased range is going to be quite useful for me I think.

The E2 is doing great for me so far - Very short haul routes are very profitable with these. How are people finding the 737-9?

I have to agree, I am impressed with the E2, and pleased to have them. The 737-9 is also good, but less profitable that the older version in my application however, the fuel savings will help as time goes on.

The list of new airplanes that have not been introduced keeps growing. Aside from the obvious ones from big manufacturers, we also have a sizable number of new planes from smaller makers that have not been introduced. Here is a list of some of the overlooked but very important new addition:

  1. RUAG Do 228NG

  2. LET L-410NG

3) HARBIN Y-12F  (Can't figure why they gave such an undistinctive name to an all-new aircraft! Plane even has FAA certification)

4) ANTONOV AN-74TK-300  (Has been around and on offer for several years now!)

  1. TUPOLEV TU-214/TU-204SM (For the love of God, the TU-214 is still very much in production, so is TU-204SM!)

I believe the RUAG in AS is in fact the NG version which is the only version RUAG have ever made.

The Dornier Do-228 is only available in older A/S games as used (old) planes. This is not the same as the new one

RUAG Do-228NG is however a new and current offer that is not available on A/S to buy new! The new game Otto IV does not even feature it!

The RUAG Do-228NG was introduced into AS on 2 May 2012. I am operating 7 of them of which 4 of them were bought brand new. Build time 3 hours. Certainly available on Croydon and Meigs. I suppose it is feasible that it is not on newer servers. I know the Saab 340 freighter has a very limited rollout.

This is from a post by Martin from 24 April 2012 regarding a then forthcoming update -

'Besides the introduction of new aircraft types, such as the Antonov 148, ATR 42/72-600, Boeing 747-8 and 787-8, RUAG DO228NG and the Sukhoi Superjet ...'
