Hey, im fairly new to the forum part of Airlinesim, so apologies if this has already been discussed.
Has anyone been able to subscribe to any IPOs??? I’ve read the bit about them changing certain parts to stop cheating, but from what ive seen made it impossible to invest in other airlines.
My airline is making over 2million profit a week, admittedly i don’t have a lot in equity (only the seats/config), and when i try it says i cant.
My airline is a subsidiary, and i used all the 10million from the holding to establish it, so my holding has zilch!!
Do i have to wait to get money in my holding, which will mean having an IPO, and are there anyone who can invest for the IPO to be successful???
Someone in my alliance suggested it was that my airline itself was not 2 weeks old, but all my alliance members cant invest, and yet theres 2/3 that have gone public, but cant invest in each other
My company has a balance sheet of over $16,000,000 that means my airline has made money. It has also been operating for over 2 weeks. How much money do we have had to made, prior to investing?
I think there’s a glitch somewhere.
I understand trying to prevent cheating, but when a company has been operating for 2 weeks with 6 aircraft and is showing no signs of closing down, should they not be aloud to invest?
None of them have shares already subscribed, and when I want to suscribe, I’ve the message “Your company is not eligible to participate in an IPO yet. You have to accumulate more equity.”
2 weeks ago before the crash, it was working in the same conditions (same airline, routes, turnover)
I have a holding with a $9 million subsidiary enterprise, retaining $1 million in the holding as cash for stock market investment. When the holding tries to buy stocks I get the “not enough equity” message. Which equity are they talking about? The $1 million in the holding, or the sum of the holding plus enterprise? If they mean just the holding, then my strategy of retaining funds in the holding is screwed, because there’s no way the equity can ever change ( ok, not true, I could build a terminal and wait several thousand years). Webbster, can you tell me which German Wiki page you are talking about? I notice that not one single share has been traded on the stock market so far.
What I mean is the Balance Sheet. The Holding should have an Equity of 10 mio (1 on the account and 9 in the subsidiary)
The Balance Sheet of the daughter should have 9 mio (or more -> if you have earn some money shareholders equity
Holding: Get more Equity, you can sign IPOs (Terminals or if your Subsidiary is at the stock market with the diviends) and YES, your Strategy with holding back 1 mio will last very long to invest in IPOs
Subsidiary: Get more SHAREHOLDERS EQUITY with earning money by transfering PAXs…
As far as I can make out from the German Wiki page, the relevant part is -
So if I read that correctly, the holding company has to increase its assets - by how much is irrelevant, is that correct? So if , the holding company can’t buy any shares until it’s made some money, it has to make some money some other way - like for example the holding company could by a really small aircraft and fly it round for a while, or build a small terminal and rent it out, would that do it?
