Hello there. I was looking through the financials for my airline on Free 1 and noticed that the ATC fee for my ATR 42-500 landing at 21:10 LT was 718 AS$, which was unbelievably high.
I had thought that was just an average fee that I did not understand, until I looked at my other flights from my ATRs in Malaysia. BKI charged 66, TWU charged 66, and even SZB charged 66. I’m quite sure something is not right here, can this be looked into and confirmed?
ATC fees are based on the distance flown, the size of the aircraft and the size of the airports at both ends.
Must be the distance then. This flight was from BKI to TGG, from both halves of Malaysia. Thanks for the quick response btw, love the game!
On longer flights ATC fees can get pretty high. That’s why it can be more efficient to fly a bigger plane longer distances as aircraft size doesn’t matter that much regarding ATC fees.
