Hi!
I just founded my airline and i am wondering if my decisions are good for my first steps.
I own the following AC on the following routes:
CRJ7; DUS - TLS
Dash 8; DUS - WAW
Sukhoi Superjet; DUS - MXP
My airline is based in Dusseldorf and all of these aircraft are leased.
Am I set up for a good start?
EDIT: My airline is set up in ASPERN
One of the most important things you need to run a successful airline is connections. For example, you may want one plane to run east-west through your hub. So if you are based in Dusseldorf, you might want to go Warsaw -> Dusseldorf -> Paris Orly/CDG -> Dusseldorf -> Moscow-> Dusseldorf -> Zurich.
Very few passengers are going to want to fly directly from one airport to another. Most passengers are going to be traveling further. To do that, you need good interlining and good connections. If you notice the flight route I just mentioned, it goes back and forth through your hub to create traffic at your hub. That's going to be a key in making a successful airline.
Another hint would be to read through the forums as much as possible. There is a lot of good information if you take the time to read it.

Should I liquidate my airline and start over?
Nevermind. Please have no further posts on this thread.
