Meaning of "#### maintenance ratio"

This is just a curiosity question because I just noticed it while looking at something.

On the bank account page, where it lists the actual transactions in your bank account, there are the following types of entries:

Maintenance of N016XTH (8510 maintenance ratio)
Maintenance of N008XTH (11691 maintenance ratio)

What do these numbers actually mean? 8510? 11691?

It just means, that there was a maintenance window and the maintenance was performed. The numbers display how much “Damage-Points” were repaired.

What’s the maximum number of damage points a plane can take? Or does it vary from type to type?
