Moving Money From Subsidiary to Holding

Hi,

I was wondering if it is possible to move cash from the account of a subsidiary back into the parent company. I gave my initial airline too much money and would like to refill the parent company’s coffers to enable me to start a separate enterprise / make investments.

Money as such can not be transferred, you can only transfer aircraft (asset transfer feature under the $ sign) or make an IPO if you meet the criteria, the main parts of dividends will go to the holding.

The new asset transfer feature is definitely the way to do it. The subsidiary just buys an aircraft and transfers it to the holding - no need to pay the full amount, a 90% financing is fine. Not only can the holding then lease the plane back to the subsidiary, it can now borrow money with the plane as collateral.
