New/Missing Airports

So I was going through my every-so-often status update of the Brasov Airport project and I fell into a really big rabbit hole about new airports and some others that were missing in the game. Here are some airports I saw missing I wanted to post out publicly, as I don’t quite want all of this “work” to be buried as a support ticket in my ever-more-messy inbox. Hopefully, we see some of them in a future data patch

Let me precede with two things:

1 - this is not the first time something like this is posted, so see following threads below if you are not a frequent forum lurker.

New Airport: Mexico City Santa Lucía Airport

Yesterday a new airport was inaugurated: Mexico City-Santa Lucía Airport. Officially it’s Felipe Ángeles International Airport and shortened to AIFA but no one will call it that because not a lot of people know who this namesake even was. New airports in Russia: Tobolsk (Remezov)

Two large new airports have been opened in Russia. Also, two airports are closed. In the cities of Rostov-on-Don and Saratov. We will also change the IATA code at the new airport in Saratov. Here’s the info:

New airport in Albania: Kukës

Hi, I know that forum isn’t the best place for it, but I’ve sent a ticket long ago with no response, so I thought I’d reach out here. I’d like to ask if it’s possible to include Kukës Airport in the next data patch? It’s been opened in summer 2021, and judging by it’s location it should have a demand that would sort of be a mix of demands from Tirana and Pristina, of course scaled down as it’s a small airport. I couldn’t find any official stats on the no. of passengers handled, but it says he…

2 - The big market for this is India. There is a LOT of new airports there past three years alone. I didn’t feel like going through all of that, much less because it is a less relevant market for me specifically. I can try and go through it if anyone is interested, or if someone has a list that’d be nice to see added. But there are definitely at least 15-20 airports in India missing just because they’ve been built nothing ago.
